"randompw" Version 1.2.0 for Windows 9x, NT, 2000 and XP.
---------------------------------------------------------
Installing "randompw.exe" under Windows.

Simply extract the "randompw.exe" file from the zip file and place it into a
a directory that is either in your executable path, or make the directory where
you placed "randompw.exe" current.

Most commonly, this will be your WINDOWS directory.

Alternately, install "randompw.exe" and its component files into its own directory
and run "randompw" from there. I recommend doing this rather than cluttering
up your Windows directory.

To run "randompw", simply type "randompw" without the quotes at a command prompt.

Because "randompw" is a non-graphical, command line program, you can not run it
from the Windows Start menu "Run..." menu item. If you do this, you will be
unable to view the generated password. Instead, open a Windows command window
and navigate to the directory where you extracted "randompw", and then simply type
the command "randompw" followed by any optional parameters you wish.

View the randompw options by entering the command "randompw -h".

The Microsoft Windows randompw files are:

randompw.exe - The Microsoft Windows executable program.
randompw.c - Randompw C source code for Windows and Unix.
randompw.h - Randompw C header file for Windows and Unix.
randompw.mak - Randompw make file to compile and link randompw.exe under Windows.
README.txt - Randompw UNIX README file (might be useful for WIndows users also).
README-WINDOWS.txt - This file (Windows 9x, NT, 2000, XP installation notes).
RELEASE-NOTES.txt - Randompw version history.
